Tiffany and Nick’s elopement at Carondolet Park by St. Louis wedding photographer Cate Jackson

wedding sign by Cate Jackson Photography

I’ve been asked to photograph several elopements this spring and it’s always a joy! With the low key atmosphere and intimate nature of these events everyone is always really chill and happy. Tiffany and Nick’s was no exception. They chose to have their wedding at The Boat House at Carondolet Park , which is one of my favorite locations to photograph. Their wedding took place in front of the lake on a sunny April sign by Cate Jackson PhotographyThe above sign was for their few and intimate family and friends guests. Nate and Marie’s wonderful Wedding in St. Louis by St. Louis Wedding Photographer Cate Jackson

saint louis wedding, saint louis Chinese tea ceremony

Nate and Marie got married and it was FABBO! They started off their day with a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony at Marie’s family home. It’s a way to honor relatives, loved ones and ancestors. They served tea to people who then handed them red envelopes with gifts of money. It was such a beautiful gesture. I’d never experienced one before and I was honored to be there capturing the event.saint louis wedding, saint louis Chinese tea ceremonySaint louis bride, Chinese tea ceremonyBride arrivingChinese Wedding Tea CeremonyBride, groom, Chinese Tea CeremonyChinese Tea Ceremonysaint louis bride, best saint louis wedding photographerwedding photography saint louis, getting ready, boutionnierressaint louis bride and groom, tea ceremony, Saint Louis Fine art wedding photographersaint louis multicultural wedding photographer

Niky & Sean’s Intimate Backyard wedding and Mad Art Gallery reception

St. Louis wedding

Niky and Sean decided to have a backyard wedding at their home in the Historic Soulard neighborhood of St. Louis, MO. It was an intimate affair with only close relatives and friends. Afterwards they held a larger reception at Mad Art Gallery just down the street. Mad Art is a former police station turned art gallery and event venue and it’s fab!

Niky’s dress. What can I say? It was GORGEOUS and perfect for her. Not many brides choose to wear a black formal gown and she totally rocked it. Check out those fab shoes too! St. Louis wedding

A St. Louis Lemp Mansion Wedding

If I can say one thing about Kate and Joe’s wedding is it was FUN. They chose to have it at the Historic Lemp Mansion in St. Louis, MO, which is a beautiful old historic home owned by the owners of the historic Lemp Brewery. I highly recommend it as a wedding venue.

So, these two fell in love and got married there.lemp2
