Kristen and Adam’s Gorgeous Memphis wedding by St. Louis Wedding Photographer Cate Jackson

Kristen and Adam were Married at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens in Memphis, TN, which is a fantastic venue. Kristen is actually my second cousin and when her Mom Sandy contacted me to photograph the wedding in Memphis, I was delighted! The couple currently resides in Colorado and decided to have their wedding in Memphis to be closer to their families. They couldn’t have chosen a nicer venue, with the Dixon Gallery’s outdoor gardens it made for a gorgeous backdrop. The weather was perfect despite rain in the days leading up to the wedding and storm warnings for the wedding day. It didn’t rain a drop! Here are some photos from the day starting with their first look in the gardens.
Isn’t she stunning in that modern textury dress and he looks so dapper in his suit! All day you could feel the love… We found this beautiful ivy wall and just had to get a few shots there.
The garden had sculptures throughout so we used them as a backdrop. Here’s one that is actually a favorite of the couple.
They are such a cute couple and so happy!
The couple had simple yet elegant wedding details.
They also had great musical taste. Their wedding march was ” Shelter from the Storm” by the infamous Bob Dylan.
There were many points in the ceremony where they had a good laugh.
After the ceremony they took a few minutes to themselves and then it was on to the reception and their first dance as a married couple.
And then there were the heartfelt toasts and speeches…
And after that they danced the night away!
Congrats to the happy couple and their families!
