I’ve been asked to photograph several elopements this spring and it’s always a joy! With the low key atmosphere and intimate nature of these events everyone is always really chill and happy. Tiffany and Nick’s was no exception. They chose to have their wedding at The Boat House at Carondolet Park , which is one of my favorite locations to photograph. Their wedding took place in front of the lake on a sunny April day.The above sign was for their few and intimate family and friends guests. Nick is excited as he gets his boutionnierre pinned.Tiffany shared a special pre wedding moment with her father.Nick waited with anticipation for his beautiful bride…A moment of prayer. After a short and sweet ceremony they shared their first kiss as a married couple. After the ceremony we did some photos in and around the Boat House at Carondolet Park.I’m in love with the light in the Boathouse! Then we went to another spot within the park. There are so many spots and they didn’t hold back on the affection. And what I didn’t tell you until now is that she is also expecting!Congratulations Tiffany and Nick!!!!

These two couldn’t be any more in love. It just oozes out of them. Carolyn and Ben met in college and are getting married on September 16th of this year.We met at Forest Park because it is a sentimental place for them where they actually got engaged. They didn’t take long to start getting romantic even though they claimed to be shy in front of the camera! It wasn’t yet spring but we had a really beautiful day in Forest Park. It was the most beautiful day this year so far. They are just so joyful together. After spending some time at my favorite secret spot in Forest Park we headed over to the Grand Basin at Art Hill where they actually got engaged.Carolyn and Ben decided to include their sweet Black Lab Ruffie for a few shots. :0)He is sooo cute and sweet…After this Ben was basically done! Lol.I had a blast with these two and can’t wait for their wedding!~
Miri is from Germany and has served as a Circus Harmony intern for the past year. She has lived with and become a part of our family. Our daughter Leia has a special relationship with her so we decided to do a photoshoot at Forest Park.
Katie and Danny are getting married in October at Pierre Marquette State Park. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding! Along with the outdoorsy theme of their wedding they chose Forest Park’s wooded areas for their engagement session.
Nate and Marie got married and it was FABBO! They started off their day with a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony at Marie’s family home. It’s a way to honor relatives, loved ones and ancestors. They served tea to people who then handed them red envelopes with gifts of money. It was such a beautiful gesture. I’d never experienced one before and I was honored to be there capturing the event.
After the traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony we headed over to Forest Park to the Highlands to get ready for the wedding. We met outside the Highlands in Forest Park for the first look. Then we traveled around Forest Park for some awesome portraits! The ceremony. The first dance between the bride and groom. We went outside for one final shot.Congratulations to Nate and Marie!
