Katie and Danny are getting married in October at Pierre Marquette State Park. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding! Along with the outdoorsy theme of their wedding they chose Forest Park’s wooded areas for their engagement session.

Nate and Marie got married and it was FABBO! They started off their day with a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony at Marie’s family home. It’s a way to honor relatives, loved ones and ancestors. They served tea to people who then handed them red envelopes with gifts of money. It was such a beautiful gesture. I’d never experienced one before and I was honored to be there capturing the event.
After the traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony we headed over to Forest Park to the Highlands to get ready for the wedding. We met outside the Highlands in Forest Park for the first look. Then we traveled around Forest Park for some awesome portraits! The ceremony. The first dance between the bride and groom. We went outside for one final shot.Congratulations to Nate and Marie!
Meghan and Dustin had been together 10 years before getting married! You know a couple is truly in love when they get married after that long. They chose the Carondolet Park Boathouse for their ceremony and Hendri’s for their reception. It was a beautiful day and they were a beautiful bride and groom! Here are some of the photos:
The above photo series is of Meghan having a moment with her beloved cat after the cat had sat right in the middle of the kitchen floor and was surrounded by bridesmaid’s feet!Congratulations to Meghan and Dustin!

Niky and Sean decided to have a backyard wedding at their home in the Historic Soulard neighborhood of St. Louis, MO. It was an intimate affair with only close relatives and friends. Afterwards they held a larger reception at Mad Art Gallery just down the street. Mad Art is a former police station turned art gallery and event venue and it’s fab!
And you can all see how perfect the gown is for her!And now we have the handsome groom.Time for the first look which took place in their garden. Then their was a cocktail reception in their home for the intimate group of guests attending. Then it was time for the beautiful backyard wedding. They did a wine bottle ceremony where they put a bottle of wine in a special box along with letters to each other. They will uncork the wine on their first anniversary and read the letters. After the ceremony we had some time to photograph the couple alone throughout the neighborhood. This last one was taken on their front porch. And then they were off to Mad Art Gallery for their reception! They had an array of desserts and snacks on every table. So cool. The first dance…Then they partied it up!Congratulations Niky and Sean!!!!
If I had one word to describe this wedding and this couple it would be LOVE. They are so in love and were so happy on their wedding day which went swimmingly. Jillian and Mark were married at Chandler Hill Vineyards in Defiance, MO, which is a fantastic location for a wedding. They were surrounded by their happy loving friends and family. The bride’s face was literally glowing with smiles all day long.
