I’ve been asked to photograph several elopements this spring and it’s always a joy! With the low key atmosphere and intimate nature of these events everyone is always really chill and happy. Tiffany and Nick’s was no exception. They chose to have their wedding at The Boat House at Carondolet Park , which is one of my favorite locations to photograph. Their wedding took place in front of the lake on a sunny April day.The above sign was for their few and intimate family and friends guests. Nick is excited as he gets his boutionnierre pinned.Tiffany shared a special pre wedding moment with her father.Nick waited with anticipation for his beautiful bride…A moment of prayer. After a short and sweet ceremony they shared their first kiss as a married couple. After the ceremony we did some photos in and around the Boat House at Carondolet Park.I’m in love with the light in the Boathouse! Then we went to another spot within the park. There are so many spots and they didn’t hold back on the affection. And what I didn’t tell you until now is that she is also expecting!Congratulations Tiffany and Nick!!!!
When Ashley called me to ask my availability for her wedding, I asked if she was eloping. She explained that this was also a gender reveal party and that her Grandmother had said, “Why don’t you just get married beforehand.” Both she and Patricio who had been together for seven years thought that was a great idea. They settled on Forest Park at the Grand Basin with the St. Louis Art Museum and Art Hill as the lovely backdrop.
After the heartfelt toasts it was time to cut the gorgeous cake. They had gathered a group of close family and friends to celebrate both their wedding and also the upcoming baby that they are expecting. After dinner was time for the gender reveal part of the party, while everyone waited with anticipation to find out if it’s a boy or a girl. They each opened a gift…Now was the time for the reveal! Congratulations to Ashley and Patricio and their families on the new marriage and baby to come!
These two couldn’t be any more in love. It just oozes out of them. Carolyn and Ben met in college and are getting married on September 16th of this year.We met at Forest Park because it is a sentimental place for them where they actually got engaged. They didn’t take long to start getting romantic even though they claimed to be shy in front of the camera! It wasn’t yet spring but we had a really beautiful day in Forest Park. It was the most beautiful day this year so far. They are just so joyful together. After spending some time at my favorite secret spot in Forest Park we headed over to the Grand Basin at Art Hill where they actually got engaged.Carolyn and Ben decided to include their sweet Black Lab Ruffie for a few shots. :0)He is sooo cute and sweet…After this Ben was basically done! Lol.I had a blast with these two and can’t wait for their wedding!~
I love this family! I have known them for years and watched these beautiful girls come into this world to such loving parents. Enjoy the photos of this adorable family!
Miri is from Germany and has served as a Circus Harmony intern for the past year. She has lived with and become a part of our family. Our daughter Leia has a special relationship with her so we decided to do a photoshoot at Forest Park.
